To be clear:
- Replacing an omni with a direction is completely doable, although there are some requirements to doing it correctly.
- Adding a splitter will not work.

no i just attached the grid antenna to the repeater and removed the omni antenna and i can pick up the signal perfectso i now know that a directional antenna does work on a universal repeater
