Question Can I go into monitor mode using VMWare player?

    I am using the following:
-VMWare player to run Backtrack 3
    -A DLink WNA-1330 wireless card
-My network adapter settings in VMWare are "bridged"

When I use the following command
    Code:
    airmon-ng
NO, cards show up and when i go to internet->wireless assistant it says no supported cards or something along those lines.

So, my questions are, what am I doing wrong? Shouldn't I see my card when I enter the above command? What can I do to get this working? Should I be using VMWare workstation instead?

Hey dude, you need to get that record looked at, it keeps skipping.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
