Injection test

Hi!

I would like to know if my wifi card ( intel 3945) can successfully inject. I ran injection test :

What does this No Answer... mean? Is it can successfully inject or not?

What does this No Answer... mean? Is it can successfully inject or not?

The No answer means that no responses were received from your probe requests.
The 0/30: 0% means that out of the 30 fake packets sent to the AP 0 were responded to.
So to sum up NO this interface cannot inject, however you are using the wrong interface (the parent) you should be using the (VAP) ath0 or whatever it is called according to the chipset.

Refer to the ipwraw issue.
Default intel drivers, as far as i know, cannot inject while being up. You do need to swap your default iwlwifi driver to the ipwraw, then you can monitor and inject.
BTW, this worked well for me under BT3 beta.
Somewhere in the forum and in the wiki you can for sure find a topic in which is well explained how to switch from one to the other...i remember also someone who wrote a tiny gui for this...
