the very best wifi card for backtrack 3

i was wondering what is the best most compatible wifi card for backtrack 3
at this moment in time money is not really an issue
i dont really need an antenna i will build my own
i need one that plugs in to usb
and the most important thing is that it needs to be compatible with most if not all of backtracks software including some other software like aircrack-ng and most of the widely used wifi pen testing software

so far i have been recommended the alfa 500mw
any other sugestions

Try out the search, it's called the "million dollar question". Personally I just work with what I have. It makes if more of a challenge and you learn more. If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.
