Fast Track Slow download

hello i hope everybody's having a good day/night ok im doing a slackeware update and im downloading probably at about 5kbs at the best wondering if there was a way to speed it up thanks

change the sources your using in /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc. I also noticed it tries to get slackware 10.1 updates when what you probably want is 12.1 although I'm not certain about that.
