If anyone knows of any inexpensive platforms I can use bt3 on please post here, preferably handheld devices or subnotebooks/netbooks/or laptops.
Whichever runs for less than 350 dollars.

Yea, I think they run in the 5 to 6 hundred dollar range. I second the second hand laptop off fleabay. The eeePc 701 series works as well.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
