I could not get an ARP request though (as discussed at the beginning of the topic). Now I am stuck at the "Waiting for an ARP packet coming from the Client.... Read 10000 packets... "and counting.
Did you do something special to get an ARP packet?
I had some time to play around with tkiptun-ng myself yesterday and after I updated the aircrack-ng suite to 4.76 I was able to get past the "Michael Test: Successful" line without the program exiting.

By using the client to ping an local IP address I managed to get an ARP-request from the client side, but no matter what tkiptun-ng would not recognize a similar packet coming from the AP side. As the tool still is very much experimental I figure that there are still quite a few bugs to be worked out before the tool can be classed functional.

I got a feeling your going to be waiting for longer than 15 minutes, what aircrack version are you using?
Sometimes I try to fit a 16-character string into an 8–byte space, on purpose.

    hi,

    I have just updated aircrack-ng 1.0 rc2

Tkiptun-ng doesn't getting any ARP packet. What am I doing wrong?

I cloned ath1 MAC (to my own "victim" client mac) but after WPA handshake captured and
"Waiting for an ARP packet coming from the Client..." packets are coming but no ARP packet.
It still need some deauth attack against client to get ARP?

    What do you think?

    sorry for my english

    Hello there,

I have exactly the same problem. I checked out and installed the latest (at the time of writing this) SVN revision 1657.

Had my MAC changed, everything should be OK... but still no ARP, not even after a full day of counting packets...

I would appreciate any insight on this one... Thank you!
