You really need to search harder before posting next time.
Use "startx" to start the GUI from the command line, intall kdm to give you a GUI login.
booting problems
hi i am new to bt4 and a new linux user i have bt4 final on a live cd and i can not figure out how to boot the GUI i know i sound like a noob but a little help would be nice i have bt3 on a live cd and it boots straight into the gui but it wont show my wireless card i have a toshiba a205-s5803
