Default [BT3] Probelm Booting BT3 (Data Not Found) with MacBook 13,3" Alu

    Hey there.

Today I wanted to Install/Boot Backtrack3 on my MacBook.
After the Boot Screen the Error "BT3 Data Not Found" appeared.
The problem is probably the SATA Drive. But I don't have a clue how to fix this problem.

    Today I tested wifislax.
    Same Problem.

But a Ubuntu Live CD worked without a problem.
It seems that there's a problem wit Slax/Slackware.

Most likely the Ubuntu system has a newer boot loader that actually supports EFI.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

i HAD the same problem when i tried to install it on my own (no tut). I found that the boot process was looking in the wrong drive for the data needed. I had it on my HDD but it was looking in my CD-RW drive. What tut did you follow on your installation?? I have BT3 on my Toshiba T2080 which has a SATA HDD so that is not the problem. However i don't know anything about the MacBook or anything from Apple for that matter.
