BT4 on IBM ThinkPad T43 Wireless Issue

Hello,

I just installed BT4 final on my IBM ThinkPad T43 and am having a hard time connecting to the internet. I read through the FAQ documents and have assigned the SSID to my wlan0 interface but do not understand what else i need to do. I have started/restarted the networking as well.

Is there a GUI application to manage wireless networks in BT4? I tried an app called Wicd manager and it doesnt ever open when i click it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
