nmap/zenmap + ssh tunneling

I'll be short and straight forward. Is it possible to make nmap work through created ssh tunnel. That is of course for safety purposes. Thanks

I'm not sure what safety purposes that would give you.

You want to use a bounce box or completely route your network connection through Tor.
