For future reference it would be nice if you actually told us what make and model of wireless card you are using. I am however going to use my psychic powers this time and assume that you have an Intel 4965 card. If that is the case I believe that you will have to update the kernel in BT3 to get full support for your card. This is no easy task for someone new to Linux, and honestly I would advice you to simply get a card that is supported out of the box in BT3.
