    Cool Edit BT3 Boot?

Im running an AMD 5200+ on an ASUS board and with not only backtrack but all distros of Linux I have to add noapic to my boot or i get a black screen and it just freezes. How can I add the noapic into the boot and save it that way so I dont have to catch the tab key everytime and type it in. I have BT3 on my flash drive so i can save changes made. Thanks for any help that anyone might be able to give.

    Thumbs up

Okay so I tryed that and it didnt work yet after some hunting around and changing of a few things I did find what I think to be the solution to my issue. I wont fully know until I get home to test, but what i found is that the file:

    boot\syslinux\syslinux.cfg

is the file you need to change. You need to go into that file and add the noapic to the end of the line of code for what you boot to. Or you can put it at the end of all of them.
