Can't associate/inject, I've tried almost everything!

Hi,

I'm taking a network administration course and I got really interested in the fact that it's possible to crack WEP's. So I setup my own work station down here in my basement but I'm having a tough time.

I'm using my acer aspire one with it's built in atheros wifi card. I successfully changed the mac, completed all of the steps EXCEPT when I use:
aireplay-ng -1 0 -a 00:1d:2c:3d:4f:5f -h 00:11:22:33:44:66 -e home ath0

I know theres a lot of problems with this, I've done the searching but I've found my problem rather unique because mine doesn't stop at sending authentication,
this is basically what happens:
Sending Authentication
Authentication Sucessful
Sending Association request

Sending Authentication
Authentication Sucessful
Sending Association request

Sending Authentication
Authentication Sucessful
Sending Association request

Sometimes it will fail or other times it will just go on forever. I really tried hard to figure this problem out for myself but hopefully you guys can help me.

beyond that, sounds like you're close enough since it's your AP in your basement. Try the tips in the above tutorial and see if you can get associated.
