No USB Device Listed in lsusb
Pardon my noobness...
I am Running BT3 from a USB stick and trying to get a Linksys WUSB54GC to be recognized, but for the life of me it will not show up.
I have run modeprobe rt73,then iwconfig still no rausb0.
I did a lsusb -v and no devices showed up.
Do I have to load something for the USB bus to work?
Any help will be appreciated.

I've ordered two of the Linksys WUSB54GC. They should be used on a very old Desktop.
As you said you typed "lsusb -v", so what's your output?Do I have to load something for the USB bus to work?
Did you try tu plug the Stick before powering on and second plugging in when final booted up?
Be sensitive in choosing where you ask your question. You are likely to be ignored, or written off as a loser, if you:
* post your question to a forum where it's off topic
* post a very elementary question to a forum where advanced technical questions are expected, or vice-versa
* cross-post to too many different newsgroups
* post a personal e-mail to somebody who is neither an acquaintance of yours nor personally responsible for solving your problem
Another clue can be had by booting the system and then when you plug in the USB adapter have a look at the last few lines of dmeg like this....
bt~#dmesg | tail -n 20
I finally got this to work. I followed the video that Pureh@te created to re-do my USB stick. All appears to be functioning. That for the help.
