    Default Windows Vista Stock Firewall

How secure is the windows vista stock firewall? Am I better off installing comodo or another free firewall over the stock vista firewall?

    Thanks

From what I've read. Windows Defender is very good. Plus the prompt for installing applications is also a major plus as well. But a firewall is only as good as the person who wields it.

I am wondering too. In XP the firewall only works at layer 3. I wonder if they added layer 2 support for vista.
