Lucky you! I'm having to fight the wireless for my eeePc. Other than that, it seems faster than the last version.

maybe i can download that from dell or something. those guys at the my dell mini forum probably would know.
    You can download it here.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

I can't vouche for all of their Ubuntu CD images or if that link to their site is messed up, but the image of Ubuntu that came with my mini I got a few days ago would only read 3.4G of the 16G SSD. After talking to quite a few out sourced techs I found one that confirmed it was a problem occurring with their shipment of Ubuntu systems. So now I am waiting for an external CD drive to wipe the partition and do it myself like I should have just been prepared to do from the beginning.

Anyhow, on to the meat and potatoes of why I came here: The mini comes with the Broadcom BCM4310 (rev01) but to start the process of accessing packets I need to put it in monitor mode by: modprobe -r "xxxxx" does anyone know what values to plug in there? gratzi for any help.

oh btw my wireless worked fine out of the box.

theres a fix for this.. boot the install from usb or cd or dvd... and extend the partition, reboot and you've got your whole drive in use....

For anyone that decides to get a mini 9:

I swapped out the BCM4312 for a gigabyte gn-wi06n-rh and it works great in backtrack 3 on boot.
