    Default Changing Mac Address

When I attempt to change my mac address with macchanger it works fine. I use "macchanger --mac 00:11:22:33:44:55 eth1". But under ifconfig it displays "HWaddr 00-11-22-33-44-55-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00" Is this going to affect my activities?

It is just an error in how the MAC string is parsed by ifconfig, as kraven666 says the correct MAC address (00:11:22:33:44:55) will still be broadcasted.
