RFID hardware help
I've been reading up on RFIDs a lot and I've decided to buy an RFID reader/writer. I was looking at the one from OpenPCD (google it), but I don't know if it's exactly what I want, and it's sold out right now.
What I want is something capable of reading and writing cards, as well as reading the actual card reader's challenges that it sends out.
On a final note, I haven't found much on software to do this but the OpenPCD one.
Sorry if I sound like I'm asking a lot of dumb questions, I've read all about it, it's just that the process of RFID reading isn't very well documented.

Did you find a solution to your questions? I'm getting into this as well, and would like to hear that you decided to buy and if it works with bt4 ?

If you are looking for RFID hardware, might as well go to the guy who wrote the code that is on BT4. In addition to software, he has hardware (reader/writers) also. I've bought 2 from him in the past. Here is the LINK

RFID hardware help
I recently bought a touchatag/tikitag reader. Unfortunately the drivers did not come with BT4 Beta, bur I am hopeful they will be in BT4 Pre. Anyway, this is one of the readers mention on the RFIDIdiot page and it seems the be the cheepest of one. It's got some cool features, like emulating a tag. It was only 40 bucks on the touchatag website and it comes with some tags to mess around with.
