I had to install BCM4311 drivers a while back, and it was absolute hell. I am glad broadcom is really stepping up to the plate.
just saw this on LXer and thought some of our members might be interested considering all the posts I have seen about Broadcom cards not working. I am at work and haven't tested it yet but I will when I get home.

tried themnw the broadcom card detects the wireless signal and connnects too but there r frequent disconnection and connection is not stable. I have broadcom 4311 rev 2 card. also I was not able to set the card in monitor mode
