    Default aircrack use dual core?

I am replacing my single core and going with the acer gemstone with 2.2 ghz dual core. I was wondering if aircrack that is included in backtrack can take advantage of both cores or if just the one. how about quad core? or am I better off running multiple applications and assigning it to a specific core.

This is a new are to me so I don't have the slightest idea dealing with multiple cores.

Backtrack3 will use both cores. Backtrack2 will not. Its a kernel thing and has nothing to do with aircrack.
