Hey, ive heard of this app from oxid.it called Cain and Abel, which is windows based, and uses winPcap to let you do all sorts of fun stuff, like ARP poisoning and other mitm attacks. the only thing is I cant seem to get it to work for me... Im using it with my asus eeepc running WinXP. It picks up my wifi card fine, as I can scan for networks, but, I cannot use any of the other features... does anybody know whats going on and how I could fix that?
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them, because they change things.

You know what's ironic about that? I actually searched here first for that thread, remembering seeing it a while back. Was going to link it but I couldn't find it when I searched
So, I had to whip out some google foo. 'ask smart questions linux' turned up what I was looking for![]()
