    Default BT3 VMWare Portable Changes

I have searched, but can't come up with the right way to do this.
I have VMWare workstation installed on my desktop and laptop and want to save changes to a usb stick so i keep my configuration when switching between the two systems. A snapshot won't work because of the hardware differences. I had the live usb version with persistent changes by editing syslinux.cfg for the location of the folders on my usb device for each system but can't do that now.

So do i edit a vmware config to force certain files onto the usb or do i edit a backtrack config?

    Thanks.

I think you can manually set the changes partition at boot.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
