Can I ask some stupid questons please..

Hey there, I am feeling a bit stupid and I don't know if it is linux or if it is back|track...

Are thhe 2.o tutorials pertinant? are there tutorials for simple things like connecting to a network?

How do I browse my hard drive since I am running off of the Livecd? Do I have to mount my drives? or are they already mounted? and if so how do I see them?

I am trying to connect to the internet either wireless, or cable, and I can not seem to find a "control panel" to see networks or to see if the if Linux has recognized my network cards.

Are there any tutorials on using this operating system.... Thanks
