Is there a way to have two computers using the same persistent changes folder on my bt3 live usb? I have installed nvidia drivers while on my desktop, but i need to use vesa mode for my laptop until i get the ati drivers installed and also need to pass acpi=off and irqpoll to get it to boot correctly. Now i tried booting from the usb in my laptop, choosing vesa mode, and adding "changes=/dev/sda5 acpi=off irqpoll" but i got the default desktop.

Any suggestions on what i should do?
If i am able to do this, will the difference in video cards/hardware have an impact? Will the os use the correct drivers and resolution based on my hardware?
