    Default Shell Command Help?

    Hello,

    Where can i find all command for shell dedicated to Backtrack.
    Tutorial,web link…

    I search shell command for scan the port, or ip address … I want test that for my network home.

    Thank for you advice.

    ".....dedicated to Backtrack." There is neither shell nor command(s) dedicated to the Back|Track operating system. There are commands utilized within a shell for specific tools, but that is such a broad area to cover that you're better off first doing these three things:

    A) Figure out what exactly you would like to test (ie WEP, MitM, XSS, etc)

    B) Figure out what tools are used in whatever test you decide to run

    C) Look up either the man page(s) or tutorials online for each tool

    You are not getting spoon-fed here but if you try some things out and then come back with questions we'll do what we can to get you on your way.

    Nmap should be the tool of your choice for this specific task. Read the man page for information on which commands to use.
