dhcpcd install

when using "dhcpcd" I get a response "the program dhcpcd is not installed.. install it by typing 'apt-get install dhcpcd"

After using apt-get install dhcpcd I got a err could not resolve 'archive.offensice-security.com'

failed to fetch 'http://archive.offensive-security.com/pool/universe/d/dhcpcd/dhcpcd_3.2.3-1.1_i386.deb'

then states try it the apt-get update which fails to fetch also..

btw im in vmware version 6.5

How can you apt-get install a program when you have no internet? Think logically. What does dhcpcd do for you?

Try dhclient *interface*
