VMWare, poweroff, PC lockup

I have the Backtrack 3 VMWare image running in WMWare Workstation 6.0.2 build-59824 on WinXP. Everything runs fine until I try to poweroff the machine. My laptop becomes unresponsive and eventually locks up completely. Other linux/windows VM's are running fine. Anyone seen similar behavior?

I think that is the problem I had too...

I am only using VMware player so I dont know the setup..

But..

Find your "preferences" option and under "Exit Behavior" choose "power off machine" and it should power off like a regular machine when you exit out.
