    Default Atheros WiFi Card Issues.

1st I would like to appologise if I've posted this in the wrong section. It's the Support section for BT3 so here goes...

I Have an ASUS X50RL Lap-Top With Atheros AR5007EG Wireless card.
I Tried the card 1st using BT2, it said that my wireless card was disabled. I did have a hardware switch to turn it on/off but it was on. I got BT3, I started airodump and here's what I got:

The Command i did was airodump-ng wifi0 and I got NOTHING!
when i used "sudo airodump-ng wifi0" i got the standard interface for detecting wireless networks but it froze. For an hour the elapsed time was 0 seconds. On WinXP i detect several Wireless networks, but here I have nothing.
