    Hm sry,
I think i talked bulls* in my last post... Dont know why i typed this.*ignore it*

Did you try to redo the Installation on your USB drive?
Make sure when u do the bootinst.bat that u are on the right drive!

    Check your partitions with fdsik.

yeah, i tried the reinstall many times, it wont boot if i did that bootinst.dat in a different directory, im sure it has something to do with the root=dev/ram0 part of the syslinux file, i just cant find the correct name or directory of the usb stick. is there an easy way to do that in xp? it could be sda1,sda2,sdb etc... i think i just have to find that name.

Perhaps you can find something useful in this thread:
    http://forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?p=37268

Even u can also try all possibilites (sda1,sda2,sda3,sdb1,sdb2,sdc1,sdc2)

Sry have to go now (finished work for this week)

    Good luck,

You have to do a regular command line install to the USB disk and add a "rootdelay = 10" option to lilo however this method is not recomended and you USB key will not last long.
