Looking for WLan RALINK RT2790 Drivers for injection

Hi there !

I've bought a Medion Akoya Mini E1210, wlan chipset is RALINK RT2790.
I got an USB dongle Zydas ZD1211b working perfectly with Backtrack, but now that I have an integrated WLan RT2790 I'd like to know if there is way to get Monitor / Promiscious mode with this recent chipset.

It works like a charm on Backtrack and Ubuntu with official drivers but I can't find any patched injection drivers to get monitor/promiscious mode.

I'd like to know if somebody got the same card and was able to enter monitor mode with it.

Hi,
I have that mini as well. There are, as far as i know, no injection drivers for it.
Anyway Monitor mode is supported from the driver, you dont need an injection patch for that.

I think the Chipset is an RT2860, isn't it?

The cipset is RT2790.
But you're right drivers are : RT2860_Linux_STA_v1.7.0.0.tar.bz2 (RT2860PCI/mPCI/PCIe/CB(RT2760/RT2790/RT2860/RT2890)

So there is no injection drivers, it's sad : /

I recently picked up one of these bad boys, its rt2860 for me

monitor mode works out of the box, kismet and airodump-ng work fine.

packet injection would be sweet as far as i know theres a 2xxx open source project to get packet injection going!
