Can't get Agere Model 104 WiFi working???

Hey Guys,

Here is what I am running:
Compaq/HP 6710b laptop with internal wireless and bluetooth. I believe the internal wifi is broadcom.

I have a Agere Systems model 104 100mw wifi card (PCMCIA)

For some reason I can't get the agere card to work or even be recognized by BT3. It does see my internal broadcom card but I don't want to use it because I don't think that it would be good for wireless pentesting.

Can someone HELP? I need to figure out what to change/modify to get my agere card working?

Do I need to specify a certain driver? If so, how?
