major trouble with dell, vostro 1500

hi,
i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or solutions for my problem.
i have a dell vostro 1500, with the default wifi device.
its a broadcom 1395 card. =\ i know it is not very useful, but the comptuer was a gift, so hey... im thankful.
there is no pcmcia slot, its expresscard only. can i buy the pcmcia unit?
or is there some type of adapter that i dont know of or something?
ive tried google and yahoo answers a bunch of times,
but it seems like as soon as they see me mention backtrack or aircrack,
or even packet injection, they get all freaked out or something...

anyway, i would REALLY appreciate any info on this matter.

Why not simply get an wireless USB card, as I assume that the computer at least has a few of these slots. There are several supported and great USB connectable wireless cards mentioned on the forum so you might want to search around before settling for a specific card. And do make sure to avoid any USB card utilizing an Atheros chipsets as the otherwise great madwifi driver does not support these.

i was originally under the impression that b.t. did not support usb adapters, im not sure how this came about. probably the madwifi driver compatibility list or something threw me off.
