    Default I want to use IPW3945 instead of IWL3945

    Hello guys I am running BT3 from a usb drive and this version of BT3 uses
    IWL3945 but I want to use IPW3945 instead, can somehelp help me here because all the other guides require me to reboot , but i am using a usb verison, so whenever i reboot all the settings reset and its back to first-time starting version..

    Please give me a step to step guide, thanks.

    OR, can someone tell me how to enagle packet injection for ILW3945 card? Thanks

    Why do you want to use the IPW3945 drivers?
    And what other guides did you read that tell you to reboot??
    Another thing is, have a look at usb + save changes, that will save you some trouble.

    Simply use the ipwrar module instead:

    Code:
    modprobe -r iwl3945 && modprobe ipwraw
    Works fine for me and should work for you as well.
    Have fun and keep on reading and learning..
    Be sensitive in choosing where you ask your question. You are likely to be ignored, or written off as a loser, if you:

    * post your question to a forum where it's off topic
    * post a very elementary question to a forum where advanced technical questions are expected, or vice-versa
    * cross-post to too many different newsgroups
    * post a personal e-mail to somebody who is neither an acquaintance of yours nor personally responsible for solving your problem
