Updates

Hi guys,

I use BT4 on a daily basis.

I dont often connect it to the net for updates but when i do i like to get as much done as possible.

At the moment i run apt-get update and then upgrade. Then i update metasploit 2+3 and nessus.

What other things within the distro will need updating often?

Use apt-get update/upgrade and /pentest/exploits/fasttrack/fast-track.py -i

The fasttrack update system will update a range of your pentesting apps like metasploit, aircrack, etc. The -i switch invokes the interactive mode which has easy-to-understand menus.

I'm sure there are a few similar posts regarding this question in the BT forums, so have a good look first.
