    Default Can't change screen resolution.

Okay so I tried searching but it seems like you need a PHD in Searcholigy to find what you want with it.

I just got the backtrack 3 live CD and when I load it up, (witch is a lot nicer and easier then backtrack 2) the screen resolution is way to big it's set to 1400 x 1050 and i need it 1024 x 768 (or something) So I go to the place to change it and set it to 1024 x 768 it does a reset thing, but it doesn't change it, I go back to change it, it's still set at 1400 x 1050. Can anyone help me?

P.S I hope this is the right place.

you will need to edit xorg.conf file which should force xorg to run at certain resolution.
