did netcat change? no more proxy support?
I was doing a search on various ways to tunnel a SSH session. I found a good one that works, connect-proxy. but i came across the use of nc (netcat) in the manual for openssh. I tired the command nc -X connect -x proxy.address.here 80
no luck. so i open up the man page and README document that is on backtrack (and ubuntu) and both versions no longer support the -X and -x options, along with a bunch of other stuff it looks like was taken out. Does anyone know if they removed it or if it's supported by doing something different?
