This was the closest I could find to an off topic place, but anyway...

I was trying to connect to the remote exploit irc channel (#remote-exploit on freenode) and it keeps telling me that I'm banned. I can't help but wonder why exactly this could happen because I don't believe I've ever successfully connected to the irc channel.

Any thoughts?
