    Default Bt3 boot splash

I know its not the most important thing, but I like eye candy and would really like my BT3 boot up to be the same as when you boot from the live cd ie with the below splash image showing..

I have tried using the below commands but with no luck

    splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/Linux/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg >> /boot/splash.initrd

and also putting "initrd=/boot/splash.initrd" in the lilo conf

Can anyone help, i've checked pretty thoroughly on the remote exploits forums already but haven't managed to solve my problem.

Have you tried the advice mentioned in the following thread?

By the way, it looks like a part of the URL address you posted is missing.

    Exclamation lilo.conf

I too am trying to change the splash of my BT3 - and have changed it, but cannot for the life of me, and for two days now, get it to fully boot.
Iv followed bt wiki to change it, and in short, i edit my lilo.conf file, with my new splash.bmp numbers, and then insert initrd=/boot/initrd.gz OR initrd=/boot/splash.initrd - have been trying both - and get the following problem

boot goes fine until i get to kernel and init syncing . i either get
init: AaBbCc...... -and comp will just freeze there or
kernel panic: try passing init= - and it will freeze there.

im writing my lilo.conf like this
    lilo -C /etc/lilo.conf -b /dev/sdb

PLEASE HELP - NOT FOR EYE CANDY
