How to install BT3 final on VMWARE workstation?

Hi,

I tried to install BT3 on VMWARE workstation. What I did is download the VMWARE version of BT3. and Browse in VMWARE to open it. It works this way. However, I don't understand why some tutorial is asking to fdisk and then install it.... Could someone please explain to me?

It would help if you could point to us where exactly did you obtain the tutorial on partitioning and installing bt3? maybe you followed a guide to installing bt3 manually?

All those in any case are irrelevant as you have a vmware image of bt3 which has it all done for you.
