No, I'm not running it with anything else like Compiz, etc.

Just a normal Slack12.1 KDE based install.

Sorry, I can't offer any help with a Compiz/Kooldock mixture.
(Maybe I'll try it out on BT3f sometime)

I'm not running Compiz. So far kooldock seems stable for me.

Yea, like I said without compiz, its very very stable. Too bad under compiz there are stability issues since I myself use compiz quite a bit. Anyway, maybe someone will find a work around.
