ettercap not sniffing...

hello i hav windows xp...with backtrack and xp in vmware.....
both use NAT...
and their ip's lie in the same subnet
but ettercap does not sniff any passwords.....
do i hav to set any other additional settings....
will the order matter like target1 ,target2..
ettercap detects 4 computers...

Have you applied any filters to ettercap?

nope....
i am a noob ...i learnt this sniffing from videos......so nothing about filters was shown there...i hav a video about filters.....seeing it rite away......
i'll reply if that helps..
