Install BT3 mode =)

When ever i use a live cd or usb and i pick from the loading screen to load the KDE version (default), i will get to the login screen and when i type startx it will just say cant find a monitor. the same thing happens when i install BT3 to my HD. When ever i pick VESA mode, it actually works perfect, my question is: is there a way to install BT3 in VESA mode so when i try to boot from my internal HD it will go automatically to VESA mode??? thanks

2) you can manually edit /etc/lilo.conf and apply changes using lilo.
