I have successfully bruted my router with both Hydra and Medusa. From this, I have setup a test environment. It includes apache tomcat web server using the https support, oracle 10g db and simple web page login form.

From the web page i can enter a valid username and pass which will check the db and let me in. This works fine.

Now, When i try bruteforce attack the server with Medusa and Hydra I am having problems. In Medusa i have used the

-M web-form and

-M Http -s (-s for ssl)

but still no joy

Has anybody had any luck in bruteforcing a similar setup
