install bt4f on USB

i have read a lot of tutorial how to install bt4 in usb persistent
but i have try on a other way install in normal way (like HDD change only last step grub conf)
i have try this way with ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 and its work very good iv test it on 3 or 4 pc


i have a question for experts
whats the difference between Backtrack 4 – USB/Persistent Changes/Nessus | Infosec Ramblings and this Hard Drive Install

One is for a usb device that would be considered portable and the other would be for a hard disk drive that would generally be "inside" the computer. Among other things.

i mean thats the problem if i install in this way Hard Drive Install but on USB (not on HDD)

I am following the tutorial and getting the error 22 saying that wrong arguments..


can somebody get me some idea to resolve it
