    Default Vmware player/workstation question?

Hello guyz and congrats on your amazing work!
I'm trying to find a way to make my wireless adapter work on a virtual machine either on vmware player or workstation so i can use it on monitor mode.In normal booting everything works perfect, but i'm wondering if i can use bt2 or bt3 without having to close Windows Xp.So i would like to know if i can make vmware recognise my wireless adapter on bt2 or bt3?I have a pci netgear WG311T (atheros chipset)...Also i would like to know if it isn't possible with a pci adapter, which usb adapters are able to do this?

    Thanks in advance

Only wireless USB adapters will be detected in VMware and this is the reason that your WG311T does show up when you boot into BT but not in VMware. There are several USB adapters that support managed/monitor/injection mode and can be found on this forum with a little searching as well as on the official wiki under the supported hardware list.
