Default BT2 Can't boot after removing windows XP

    hi ...
i recently installed BT2 with win XP in dual mode .. and every things worked well .. but when i formatted the partition where the Win xp is installed i discovered that the BT2 lost booting at all, knowing that the BT2 is still on my computer..so i reinsatlled the BT2 ...
my question is .. there is a good way to make the BT2 boot again after formatting the Win XP without the need of reinsttling the BT2 once more??

Boot using the live CD and then reinstall lilo using the following procedure:
    1. Make sure that your backtrack partition is mounted and take note of the partition number. Then use the following command:
    Code:
    mount -o bind /dev /mnt/backtrack-partition/dev
    2. Chroot into the partition using the following command:
    Code:
    chroot /mnt/backtrack-partition /bin/bash
3.Configure your lilo.conf file to fit your needs, make sure that you edit the one located at the hard drive and not the one on the CD.
4.Use the following command to re-install lilo:
    Code:
    lilo -v
Make sure to change the backtrack-partition to the correct one, for example hda2 or sda2.
