just a lil hint use this http://forums.remote-exploit.org/search.php
if you follow that link you will get all the help you will ever need
yeah right....
don't you have a real answer to solve it besides going to a search page?
a link, code, steps, anything?
why should you be helped if you wont even help your self by searching and giving us more info..
you gave us the laptop model :Pavillion dv6408nr
What hardware what code are you using? search for your answers on this site and Google..
If you want any helpful answers it would be a good idea to give us the most relevant information, which is what wireless card you are using.
However, as far as I remember your computer comes with an internal card with the BCM4311 chipset, is this correct? If this is the case it should be supported out of the box in BT3F and using the chipset model as a search term you should find plenty of helpful posts.

i have a dv2615nr... im sure your labtop has a broadcom wifi card witch is suported in bt3f... i think the switch on the frunt of your labtop retarded just like mine...
you can get the card to connect to your AP with ndiswrapper(maybe) but monitor mode and injection will not work.
type this command lspci and look for something like thisnow go to this webpage and find your chip set and download the driver they have posted... that is if there is oneCode:Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 02)Code:http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/joomla/index.php?/component/option,com_openwiki/Itemid,33/id,list_b/
