Linksys usb adapter vmware server

im running vmware server with a back track iso on my xp machine. i cant get back track 3 to see my linksys usb adapter can anyone tell me how to config vmserver so i can see the usb adapter...thanks in advance.

Have you release the usb adapter to the vm? Don't have the server gui in front of me but you need to enable/connect the usb adapter to the virtual machine (bt3 in this case). I think it's something like VM->Removable Devices->USB Devices. Select your adapter from there and see how it goes.

thanks for the fat reply. just got it up and running. too bad i cant use my pci card. i have the big antenna connected to that one
