Wireless Network Not Working

I'm new to bt4. If anyone can help fix my problem I would greatly appreciate it. I can get internet connection via ethernet but I cant get wireless connection. It doesn't recognize any wireless networks. I have a broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter and a NVIDIA nForce Network Controller.

Have you read the networking HowTo by pureh@te and attempted to configure your network as per its guidance?

Yeah I did that, which is how i got the ethernet connection to work, but i still can't get the wireless to work.

I am also having trouble with my wireless connection. My Lan works fine but when I go into wicd Manager, It just says Wireless kills witch enabled. The card is switched on and it is an Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG. The massage of

I'm pretty new to Backtrack but I hope this is enough information. Oh, and I can use that same card in WinXP and I did confirm that the drivers were installed.

Hi, I'm new to backtrack as well and I too have the networking issue. As it says in the How to guide I input

/etc/init.d/networking start

then wait for it to say done. After that I notice my wireless card doesn't even turn on when Backtrack is completely booted up. I have a Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g WiFi Adapter in my Compaq Presario CQ50-115NR. I am also having a problem that after about 5 minutes, my computer just completely turn off no matter what I'm doing on it which includes doing absolutely nothing.
